Tax Collectors for Hire

HMRC have hired four debt collectors to assist them to recover millions in unpaid taxes.
The pilot scheme last summer was deemed a success. Following adoption of the principle in the Budget, contracts have now been agreed with the four companies including Commercial Collection Services Limited and Fairfax Solicitors Limited.
