Statutory payment rates have been confirmed for the 2024/25 tax year.

 

From Sunday 07 April 2024 Statutory Parental Pay (including Statutory Maternity Pay, Paternity Pay, Shared Parental Pay, Adoption Pay and Parental Bereavement Pay) will increase to £184.03 per week (or 90% of the employee's average weekly earnings, whichever is lower). The current rate is £172.48 per week.

 

From Saturday 06 April 2024 Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) will increase to £116.75 from £109.40. 

 

The Lower Earnings Limited that allows employees to qualify for certain statutory payments and benefits remains at £123.00 per week. Please note that there are other qualifying conditions for Statutory Payments.
