We're recruiting! We are currently looking for a qualified Accountant to join our friendly team in Chester.

Are you looking for a hands-on role in a Chartered Accountancy practice? Maybe you're looking to get back into Practice or want to supplement some Self Employed work with a role in a Practice environment? 

 

Foremans LLP is an innovative niche accountancy practice providing tax, accountancy, regulatory and contractual advice to Ltd Company contracting businesses and the Self Employed.  

 

We're looking for a qualified accountant to join our friendly team. Working with our Operations Accountants and Advisors, the successful candidate will review financial statements, Self Assessments and other accountancy work produced for clients. You will also be the source of technical accounting advice for the team and for completing further research on new queries and changes in the industry.

 

·         Reviewing accounts produced for Ltd Company Clients

·         Completing and/or reviewing Self Assessment Tax Returns

·         Checking mortgage references and accountant's references

·         Completing Partnership Returns

·         Completing sole trader accounts and returns

·         Completing accounts for Ltd company clients

·         Providing technical accountancy advice to our in-house Accountants and Client Advisors who look after the day-to-day accountancy for our Ltd company clients.

·         Producing technical notes and Advice Notes for clients and colleagues clients

·         Producing illustrative calculations for current and potential clients who are considering using Foremans to support their Ltd Company.

·         Investigating new or complex technical issues in order to assist with future planning and development of our services and advice to clients

 

 Ideally you will have a relevant qualification and have a background or experience in Practice. Someone with experience of working with Ltd company contractors and Sole Trader accounts would be ideal. This is a hands-on rather than managerial role, so it would if you enjoy getting stuck in this is the position for you!

 

The position is fixed term to cover Maternity leave for a period of up to 12 months (depending on your availability). The hours can be flexible to suit your needs, subject to a minimum of 2 days (16 hours) per week. If you would prefer full time hours we can consider this too.
