Employer Payment Booklets 2012-13

The new PAYE Payment booklets for the year 2012-13 have now been dispatched by HMRC. The booklets should be received by anyone registered by 16 December 2011.

New employers who registered after 16 December 2011 will receive a 2012-13 booklet some time after 13 April 2012.

Any employer who needs a 2012-13 booklet and has not received one by 27 April 2012 should phone the HMRC Payment Helpline on 0845 366 7816.

PAYE / NI payments should still be made on time regardless of whether the employer has a payment booklet. HMRC will charge late payment penalties. The absence of a payslip does not remove the responsibility to ensure payment is made in full and on time. HMRC recommend paying on line for which a payment slip is not required. However if you wish to send a cheque payment you will need to include the following details with the cheque:
  • company/employer name
  • address
  • telephone number
  • Accounts Office reference number
  • the month, deduction year and amount being paid
Payment should be sent to HMRC Shipley by 19 May 2012.
