The Next Budget – five months notice!
The last budget was an emergency. The next budget however will be long in the planning. The Chancellor has announced that it will be on Wednesday 23rd March 2011.
The 2011 budget will be of particular interest to the contractor and consultant community as it should contain recommendations from the Office of Tax Simplification on such matters as IR35 and small business taxation and reliefs generally.
Watch this space - but it could be too long for you to hold your breath !
